Choke: What the Secrets of the Brain Reveal about Getting It Right When You Have to
Choke: What the Secrets of the Brain Reveal about Getting It Right When You Have to by Sian Beilock
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I haven’t read a psychology book in ages, so I was particularly enthralled by the designs of the experiments that Beilock used to support her arguments. It’s a fascinating read, and as worthwhile as the tips for avoiding/limiting “the yips” might be, it’s almost a case where the explanation of how/why we get them (and the reassurance that they’re normal) is almost more useful/worthwhile!
